Mexico may not be as famous in MMA as in boxing, but it has produced some outstanding fighters throughout the history of the sport.

Brandon Carrillo Moreno from Mexico is a professional mixed martial artist. He competes at Flyweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He was a former Flyweight Champion, and is currently the Interim UFC Flyweight Champion. He is known for being intense and fast-paced in his fighting style.
He is married Shirley Moreno, and they have been together for over 10 year. During public appearances, she stands by him. The couple has three children: Maddie was born 2014, Megan was born 2019 and Morgan was born 2021. The couple shared pictures on social media of their family.
Cain Velasquez
Cain Velasquez, Mexican heavyweight Cain Velasquez found a new career in professional wrestlers after his successful UFC career. He has been a wrestler in Mexico as well as the WWE. In December 2018, he signed a contract with AAA Mexican. He intends to wrestle more in 2018.
Velasquez faces charges of attempted murder, multiple gun assault, and other crimes. Velasquez is currently being held without bail. He will appear in court Wednesday. Velasquez and the victim were shot on Monday. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting.
Nick Diaz
Nick Diaz, a Mexican fighter in MMA, is a champion and one the most charismatic UFC fighters. His last fight was against Rob Lawler, UFC 47. Lawler won the second round by KO. Diaz hasn't fought professionally since. Real Fight, Inc., a fight promotion company, was founded by Diaz. He and his brother have also established a clothing line, as well as a center for jiu jitsu.
In this highly anticipated fight, Diaz will make his much-awaited return into the octagon. While this may be his last fight with WME it is uncertain what Diaz's future holds. Regardless, he will face a hard-nosed opponent in Ferguson.

The reality television program "The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America" made the Perez a household name. After winning the show, Perez turned his attention to the MMA world.
Perez, 33 is a Mexican national. He was born September 2, 1989. He is 33 years of age and currently competes as a bantamweight fighter. He made his UFC debut in November 2014. He trains at American Kickboxing Academy.
Melissa Martinez
Melissa Martinez, a Mexican kickboxer of 25 years old, is Melissa Martinez. She has been competing professionally as a kickboxer since 2016. She has a perfect track record and is considered one the best prospects in mixed martial arts. Her specialty is shock techniques. She is also proficient in Muay Thai and Kickboxing.
Martinez won the gold medal at this year's 2021 World Association of Kickboxing Operators (WAKO), World Championship. She was also awarded the title of best female fighter at this event. She also won the 2016 Pan American Kickboxing Championship and a silver medal at the 2017 World Games. She is also a six-time national kickboxing champion. She is a promising MMA fighter and hopes to continue her kickboxing career.
