Mexico is not as well-known for its MMA talent as it is in boxing but it has produced some the best fighters in MMA's history.

Cain Velasquez, Mexican heavyweight Cain Velasquez found a new career in professional wrestlers after his successful UFC career. He has previously wrestled in Mexico and with the WWE. In December 2018, he signed with the Mexican promotion AAA. He plans to continue wrestling this year.
Velasquez faces charges of attempted murder, multiple gun assault, and other crimes. Velasquez is currently being held without bail. He will appear in court Wednesday. Velasquez arrested in connection to incident. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries from the shooting.
Nick Diaz
Nick Diaz, a Mexican MMA fighter, is a world champion. He is also one of the most charismatic UFC fighters. His last fight was against Rob Lawler, UFC 47. Lawler won by KO in round 2. Diaz hasn't fought professionally since. Real Fight, Inc. is his fight promotion company. With his brother, he has also started a clothing line as well as a jiu-jitsu training centre.
Diaz will make his long awaited return to the octagon in this highly anticipated fight. While this may be his last fight with WME it is uncertain what Diaz's future holds. However, Diaz will be fighting Ferguson in a difficult fight.
Alejandro Perez
Alejandro Perez, a mixed martial artist from Mexico, is currently competing in the bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He became known by his win in the reality television show "The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America". Perez was awarded the show and turned his attention to MMA.
Perez, 33, is a Mexican national and was born on September 2, 1989. Perez is 33 years old now and competes in bantamweight. He made his UFC debut on November 15, 2014. He trains at American Kickboxing Academy.
Melissa Martinez
Melissa Martinez is a Mexican kickboxer who is 25 years of age. She has been competing professionally since 2016. She has an impeccable record and is considered one of the top prospects in mixed martial art. Her specialty is shock technique. She also has training in Muay Thai Muay Thai kickboxing.
Martinez won the gold medal at this year's 2021 World Association of Kickboxing Operators (WAKO), World Championship. She was also awarded the title of best female fighter at this event. She also won the 2016 Pan American Kickboxing Championship and a silver medal at the 2017 World Games. She is also a sixtime national kickboxing champion. She has a promising MMA career and plans to continue competing in kickboxing.
