Morgan
Alex Morgan has been injured and will miss the friendlies against England/Spain. Vlatko Butonovski has released the USWNT's 24-player roster to play in the international matches. The matches will take place in London on October 7, and Spain on October 14, in Pamplona. Both teams are qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup in Australia.
Carli Lloyd
Carli Lloyd is one among the greatest goal scorers in US women’s football history. She has 314 caps for the USWNT, and could make more if she plays in both friendlies against South Korea. Her career has not been without controversy. It was marred by her split from James Galanis (longtime trainer) and a major accident. She is also the highest paid player in women's tennis.

Alyssa Thompson
Among the top young American players, Alyssa Thompson has the ability to stand out as one of the brightest prospects. She is a skilled player with the technical ability and speed to outpace defenders in one-on-1 duels. Tracey Kelly, the US women’s national team's coach, was able to recognize her talent. Kevins recalls Thompson, 13, when she was scouting clubs in Southern California. She met a forward who was "brave", and "resilient" on that field. Thompson is now part of the US national women's soccer team.
Tobin Heath
Tobin Heath, a forward, was recently selected for the US women's soccer team roster. She is a top player who has played for the North Carolina Tar Heels, as well the United States National team. Heath has been called "perhaps the USA's most talented player" by the United States Soccer Federation. She was named Athlete of the Year in 2016 by US Soccer.
Hope Solo
Hope Solo is a controversial figure in women's soccer, with a complex legacy. She's one of the greatest goalkeepers and has made 202 appearances for USA team. Her record is 152 clean-sheets. Solo is well-known for her outspoken opinions. Her controversial character has been a major talking point in the sport.
Tobin Naeher
The United States women’s football team is currently in the final stages to qualify for the World Cup. Tobin Naeher, a surprise selection, has been a valuable member on the roster. She played every minute and made four saves during the 2-1 victory over France. Naeher also made an important penalty kick save in the semifinals, stopping Steph Houghton's attempt.

Tiffany McLeod
Canadian players accused Christiana Pedersen (referee) of bias following a recent controversy in the US women’s soccer match against Canada. Pedersen penalized the United States with a penalty in the 80th minutes for holding the ball inside the penalty area. Pedersen is also a former World Cup referee. He was not available immediately for comment.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe has been a consistent presence for the United States women's national team for over a decade. The forward is a powerhouse on and off the field. Growing up in Redding California, she played volleyball along with her twin sister and brother. Rapinoe is a big success for the United States of America in recent years. She netted two goals in World Cup 2012 and another in World Cup 2015.
