The United States is also defending champion in Women's World Cup. It's expected that Chile will face a tough test. Each team has good players, but the U.S. team overall is stronger.

Christiane Endler is goalkeeper

The USWNT is leading Group F in goal differential and will be facing Sweden on Thursday. The USWNT is favored to win the match and will be looking to continue its winning streak.
Start lineup
Which players to start in the Women's Soccer USA vs Chile match? The United States will be looking to continue their unbeaten run in the group stage, but a win over Chile could prove vital for their Olympic hopes. Current fourth in the world, the U.S. is currently fourth after winning 20 of its 38 matches. Their last match was a 66-38 victory over Sweden. They were dominant in possession and scored twice in the first quarter, but they only saw the ball 28% of their match. Despite starting the match without seven stars, the USA never slowed down. Carli Lloyd had two goals, but missed one third.
Disputes between FIFA & USWNT
For a long time, the dispute between U.S. football and FIFA has simmered. But it is finally reaching its head. Four months prior to the Women's World Cup, an action was taken on behalf of U.S. players. It alleged gender discrimination. Players claim they are paid less and given different working conditions.
The team has players who have at least 200 caps
Becky Sauerbrunn is the 12th player to reach 200 caps in USWNT history. She will also make history as the fourth defender ever to reach this milestone. She will be the fourth defender to achieve this feat, just a few short months after the Dutch captain. This feat comes two years after a player had captained the U.S. team for the first-time since her 100th cap celebration.

Endler's denial regarding Press
ChristenPress teed Lindsey Horan into the U.S. goal. Endler however came out of her goal and denied Endler tap-in. Press's strike could have given Chile the lead but Endler made a remarkable save. Endler is known for her exceptional instincts and ability to make incredible saves. The highlight of the game was the save in the 68th minutes.
