There are many records held by women within the league, including Sabrina Ionescu’s triple-double, Sue Bird’s double-double record and Liz Cambage’s scoring record. Sabrina Ionescu's triple double

Sabrina Ionescu has a career record of a triple-double. As a college student, she averaged 17.2 ppg, 7.5rebounds, and 6 assists. She was only a rookie and had only played three games in her third season.

Ionescu's production in the first half of this season was a bit below her triple-double mark. Her second-half performance was outstanding. Her 24 points and eight rebounds helped the New York Liberty improve their record to 9-12 and climb within half a game of the playoffs.

Sue Bird double-double

Sue Bird, Seattle Storm guard set the WNBA Record for Career Assists with 2,600. Bird's Friday night double-double against the Las Vegas Aces was the largest in league history. The 30-year veteran passed Ticha Penicheiro, who previously held the record, with a 3-pointer in transition. The Seattle Storm led eight to one with 1:50 left. Bird broke her own records with a 3-pointer assisted her teammate Breanna Stewart.


Sue Bird is the only basketball legend second to Kareem Abdel-Jabbar. In her 20-year career, Bird played with the Seattle Storm. She won four championships and thirteen All-Star games. She is the only WNBA member to reach 500 career games. Bird won five consecutive Olympic Gold Medals and was named league's All-Time Leading Scorer and Assist Maker.

Liz Cambage's scoring record

Liz Cambage has become one of the best centers in the WNBA. She ranks second in league points, rebounds, blocks, and per-game. Currently, she is playing for the Dallas Wings, who have won six of their last seven games. Today's game in Dallas was Kid's Day, where she was surrounded with thousands of children who viewed the game.

Cambage's 53-point effort against the New York Liberty set a new WNBA scoring record. Cambage shot 73% on the field and made 15 out of 16 free throws. She is the first WNBA player who has scored that many points in a single game. In addition, she grabbed 10 rebounds and had five blocks in the game. The record is a fantastic achievement for Cambage, and she is clearly having a career season.

Candice Parker's career statistics

Candice Parker is an experienced basketball player. She is a member the Chicago Sky of the Women's National Basketball Association. She was selected as the first overall pick in the 2008 WNBA draft. Her basketball career started with the Los Angeles Sparks. She has played for numerous WNBA team, including the Chicago Sky.

Parker's career accomplishments are well documented. She was drafted by the WNBA after being part of the U.S. Olympic team's 2008 Beijing trip. She scored 34 point in her first match.
