If you're looking for the latest LPGA schedule, look no further. Next year's lineup will include the CP Women's Open (Annika Sorenstam's retiring, and Michelle Wie West's retiring). In addition, the ShopRite LPGA and CP Women's Open will return to their usual summer dates. After a two years hiatus, the CP Women's Open is back.

Annika Sorenstam's retirement

Annika Sorenstam's announcement of retirement on the LPGA schedule surprised many people. The Swedish-born professional golfer Annika Sorenstam will be retiring after seven seasons. She has been a major force in women's golf for nearly two decades. Annika broke the 60-hole barrier with a 59-hole round in the Standard Register Ping tournament in 2001. She was invited to participate in the Colonial tournament of the PGA Tour. She became the first woman to play in a PGA Tour event since 1945. She also won seven U.S. Women's Open tournaments as well as the Vare Trophy.

Annika Sorenstam's competition schedule

The world's top female golfer is returning to competitive golf after a seven-year absence. Annika Sorenstam made her LPGA Tour comeback last summer, finishing 74th at the Sybase Classic. Michelle Wie West's retirement

The announcement of Michelle Wie West's retirement from the LPGA schedule is a shock to many, but the decision was made for the best of reasons. The "Babe", who blazed her path and left an indelible mark on the game, was a pioneer. Wie West was a brilliant player, a creative wizard, and unstoppable force on course. Her physical presence was impressive, and her bold play against male players made her both inspiring and controversial.

CP Women's Open

The CP Women's Open in Toronto is a tennis tournament that takes place every summer. TonsOfTickets.com offers tickets to the tournament. You can also use an interactive seating chart to get the exact seat location for your CP Women's Open match. Whether you're looking to sit in the stands or in the front row, you're sure to find a seat that will suit your needs.

ShopRite LPGA to Return

The ShopRite LPGA Classic will return to New Jersey this summer. Fans from the northeast are encouraged to attend the tournament. The event generates over $19 million in economic activity for the area and donates $40 million to various charities since its inception in 1992. Wakefern Food Corp. (merchandising, logistics arm) is also involved in the tournament.

Kingsmill not on 2022 schedule

The Kingsmill Resort is not part of the 2022 LPGA Tour schedule. LPGA events have been held at Kingsmill's James River Golf Course since 2003. The event was originally set for 2021. However it was cancelled when Pure Silk pulled out from the deal at year's end. It is not clear what the future holds for James River Course. Kingsmill is looking for a new title sponsor at the moment.
